Guidance on point of care testing for COVID-19

This document provides guidance from the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) on the use of point of care testing to support increased testing demand for SARS-CoV-2 during the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) outbreak.

From 1 July 2021, the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (the Commission) is responsible for coordinating the Australian Pathology Accreditation (APA) Scheme and managing the development of the pathology accreditation standards.
