The Commission has developed National Safety and Quality Medical Imaging (NSQMI) Standards. Once finalised, these standards will replace the existing Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) Standards.
You are invited to review the draft NSQMI Standards and let us know whether:
- There are safety and quality issues not addressed that should be
- There is duplication or actions in the standards that could be removed
- The requirements of the standards are clear and
- What are the costs and benefits of moving to risk based standards in medical imaging.
The consultation is open until Friday 4 October 2024.

Your feedback will inform the finalisation of the NSQMI Standards. The final standards will be released next year.
