Last chance for input on draft COPD standard

Don’t miss this opportunity to shape the first national standard of care for COPD.

How can we improve care for people living with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), a serious chronic respiratory condition?

The Commission wants your input on our draft COPD Clinical Care Standard.

COPD is the leading cause of potentially preventable hospitalisations in Australia.

The standard aims to reduce hospitalisation rates for COPD and improve the appropriate use of antibiotics when managing COPD exacerbations.

Share your feedback

We want your feedback if you are a clinician working in general practice, respiratory medicine, emergency medicine, infectious diseases, nursing, pharmacy, physiotherapy or palliative care – or if you have a lived experience of COPD.

Share your feedback by Monday 18 December 2023.

Don’t miss this opportunity to shape the first national standard of care for COPD.
