‘Spotlight on Sepsis’ video series now available

The Commission has released a new video series to raise awareness about sepsis.

The ‘Spotlight on Sepsis’ video series was created as part of the National Sepsis Program.

Developed in partnership with The George Institute for Global Health and the Australian Sepsis Network, the series complements the National Sepsis Awareness Campaign toolkit resources.

The videos focus on the theme of the National Sepsis Awareness Campaign: “Could it be sepsis?” and aim to promote greater understanding about this serious condition among clinicians and health consumers. One video has been developed specifically to help Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

As well as providing an overview of sepsis signs and symptoms and guidance to help improve clinical recognition and management of sepsis across health settings, the videos encourage consumers to speak-up to clinicians if they are concerned about sepsis.

Please share these videos with your network to shine a ‘Spotlight on Sepsis’.
