Cosmetic surgery is a billion-dollar industry in Australia, with thousands of procedures performed across the country every year.

The Cosmetic Surgery Standards have been developed as part of urgent reforms to mitigate the safety and quality risks specific to the industry. The Standards aim to protect the public from harm and improve the quality of cosmetic surgery in Australia.
