Patient-reported outcome measures (PROMs) facilitate the measurement of the impacts of health conditions and treatments on patients’ lives. Insights from using PROMs can be integrated with relevant clinical information to gain a broader perspective of patients’ health outcomes.

The Commission is piloting the development of evidence- and consensus-based recommendations for PROMs for specific conditions to maximise clinical usefulness and minimise survey fatigue.
