AGAR Surveillance Outcome Programs 2022 Report

The Australian Group on Antimicrobial Resistance (AGAR) annually publishes data on antimicrobial resistance (AMR) and epidemiologic and genetic patterns in bloodstream infections in Australia, relating to three main organisms: enterococcal species, Staphylococcus aureus and gram-negative bacteria.

Released December 2023 

The 2022 AGAR Report provides analyses of data on AMR associated with bloodstream infections across Australia in 2022. The Report also includes considerations and implications for patient safety and delivery of care.
