Expression of Interest (EOI) for Digital Transformation Program
The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care is undertaking a Digital Transformation that will include a redesign of its current website.
The objectives of the Digital Transformation are to develop a new user centric website that consolidates quality use of medicines functions transitioned from NPS MedicineWise with existing Commission functions whilst reimagining the way digital content is presented.
Consultation and engagement with stakeholders is essential for the Commission to develop a website that meets the needs of its audiences and improves their digital experience.
How to get involved
The Commission is seeking participants for a range of stakeholder engagement activities, including:
| An External Working Group (EWG) | A formal working group established to consult on the visual redesign and information architecture for the new website and associated digital assets |

| Focus Groups | Smaller groups established to consult on the needs of specific stakeholder groups or content areas such as the National Standards, Clinical Care Standards or Primary Health Care |
| User Experience Testing | Website users will be asked to undertake user testing of the new website during development and post launch |
The Commission is seeking representation from the following stakeholder groups:
- Clinicians (doctors, nurses, pharmacists and allied health professionals)
- Quality and safety managers
- Health service managers
- Accrediting agencies and assessors
- Consumers
- Primary Health Network representatives
- State and territory government representatives
- Commonwealth government representatives
- Non-government organisations
- Researchers / academics / students
- Educators
- Human factors experts
Timeframe
The project is anticipated to run from February 2025 – February 2026. Focus groups and user experience testing will occur as required throughout the duration of the project. EWG meetings will be held bimonthly (virtual and/or in person) with the first meeting anticipated in March 2025.
