National stocktake of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health resources report
This report describes the findings of a national stocktake of health resources developed for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, undertaken by the Cultural and Indigenous Research Centre Australia (CIRCA).
The research involved identification and quality assessment of resources to determine those of high quality, and in-depth interviews with the organisations responsible for their development.
Based on these findings, CIRCA has developed a number of recommendations to help guide the development of appropriate and effective health resources for this audience group. As there is limited publicly available guidance on the approach to developing health resources for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, these recommendations address an area of need, and will be of interest to organisations looking to develop similar resources.
