Patient information Portal Resources - Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District (ISLHD)

On this page are resources about the Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District’s Patient information Portal (PiP) and PiP process, which are used to improve the quality of written consumer health information.

The Illawarra Shoalhaven Local Health District’s (ISLHD) Patient Information Portal (PiP) process aims to meet the intent and key tasks for Action 2.09 in the Partnering with Consumers Standard. The PiP tools are well established, academically validated and supported by consumer representatives. The PiP process is used to develop, test, refine, store and search for locally developed materials and is further explained in a case study and health literacy and person-centred care webinar featuring ISLHD. The resources on this page have been shared with the permission of ISLHD.
