The Implementation Toolkit for Clinical Handover Improvement, developed by the Commission, is a 'how to' guide for managers and clinicians reviewing their local clinical handover processes. The Toolkit complements the OSSIE Guide to Clinical Handover Improvement and was released by the Commission in 2010. It provides a supporting resource for health services meeting the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (second edition):
