The Australian Government Department of Health and Aged Care, in collaboration with the National Pathology Accreditation Advisory Council (NPAAC) and the Commission, has re-issued the Requirements for supervision in the clinical governance of medical pathology laboratories (the Supervision Standard).

The Commission has released a new Advisory DI 23/01: Revised Diagnostic Reference Levels (DRLs) for Nuclear Medicine and Positron Emission Tomography.

The Commission convened the Health and Medical Research Advisory Group chaired by Professor Ian Chubb AC, to guide national consultations on the One Stop Shop on behalf of the Australian Department of Health and Aged Care and all jurisdictions via the Clinical Trials Project Reference Group.
